Biography
Harlan C. Parrish is an Executive Vice President and President of the South Lee
County market for FineMark National Bank & Trust.
Mr. Parrish is a seasoned professional with nearly four decades of banking experience. Prior to joining FineMark, he served as President & CEO for Aliant Bank in Alabama, where he was responsible for 15 offices in seven counties.
From 1999-2009, Mr. Parrish was President & CEO of the Southwest Florida Region of Colonial Bank. Mr. Parrish began his banking career at Colonial as the bank’s first Management Trainee. He worked there for more than 26 years.
Mr. Parrish graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in
Biology (with honors). However, his career quickly turned to banking upon
graduation. In 1997, Parrish graduated with honors from Bank Administration
Institute (BAI) Graduate School of Retail Banking at the University of Wisconsin.
Mr. Parrish has many civic and community affiliations. He has served on the BAI
Advisory Council and, also served an eight-year term on BAI’s National Board of
Directors. Mr. Parrish serves on the Executive Committee of the Board for the
Foundation for Lee County Public Schools and serves on the Board of Directors
and as Funds Distribution Team Lead for the Bonita Springs Market for the United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades Counties. Mr. Parrish also serves on the Department of Economics/Finance Advisory Board at Florida Gulf Coast University, the Corporate Advisory Board for The Terraces in Bonita Springs, the Independent Sales Surtax Oversight Committee (ISSOC) for the Lee County School District and on the Florida Bankers Association’s Board of Directors after serving for three years on their statewide Government Relations Council.
