Estero Is Open for Business
The vast majority of retail establishments and restaurants are open for business in The Village of Estero now. BUT… there are roadblocks to the full recovery of our economy. First of all, many businesses had no business, therefore no income, for weeks and weeks. That alone makes for a tough recovery. In addition to that, most businesses are now open at very limited capacity with social distancing in place.
The recovery is vital to ALL of us, not just business owners. So here is how we can help our friends and neighbors who are business owners/operators. Let’s support each other. We cannot wait until there is “total safety” to return to normal life. That does not exist. Eat out…go shopping…attend your house of worship…interact with your friends. We can be safe and still function in society.
Of course, everyone needs to follow recommended safety precautions…
Wear a mask when in public places.
Wash your hands before and after going anywhere.
Avoid physical contact (hand shaking and hugging friends).
High-risk individuals should go out only when absolutely necessary.
